Last week our teens participated in their final session of the Teens Talk It Up Program: Interfaith Arts Project at Mother Emanuel AME Church. Mrs. Elizabeth Alston, Church Historian, facilitated a Black history lesson and the students completed their music projects with the Carolina Studio's Mobile Music Bus. Thank you to The Charleston Promise Neighborhood for their partnership on this important program that brought together the Jewish and African American community of teens to discuss social justice through art! The group has asked to continue meeting so stay tuned for more!
