Now in its 9th year, the Nosh is intended to attract the entire Charleston community and encourage people to experience Jewish food, music and culture and to learn about KKBE’s rich history and unique contributions to Reform Judaism as they wander down Hasell Street (on which traffic is reserved for pedestrians only). The Nosh features a kid’s zone, designed to provide enriching activities for younger participants.

Food options, purchased with cash or credit card, will include New York kosher- style corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, knishes, kugel, hot dogs, bagels, lox and cream cheese, homemade and donated baked goods, challah, matzo ball soup and Dr. Brown’s sodas. Food sale proceeds benefit the historic synagogue.

The Lowcountry Nosh has become a signature, annual festival in Charleston and plays a major role in showcasing KKBE’s long and meaningful relationship with the greater community. All are welcomed at this free community event.
