Marty's Place: Reopening Soon, Now With New Sunday Hours!

With less than a month left before the reopening (on 8/23) of Marty's Place: the Dr. Martin Perlmutter Dining Hall, Jewish Studies & the College of Charleston Dining Services are excited to let you know about some weekly specials coming your way!

Beginning this Fall, children under eight eat FREE on Family
Night, held every Tuesday from 4:00-8:00pm.

And on $5 Fridays, combo meals (drink and side included) are -- you guessed it -- $5 from 11:00am-2:00pm.

In an effort to serve as a genuine gathering place for local vegetarians, vegans, and the Jewish community, Marty’s Place will be open this Fall every Second Sunday from 11:00am-5:00pm on Sundays, September 11th, October 9th, and November 13th, in conjunction with Second Sundays on King Street. We invite you in for lunch, and to stick around with a cup of coffee, or for a game of bridge, Mah Jong, or Scrabble in Arnold Hall from 1:00-4:00pm. We will provide the table and the gameboard/cards; you just bring yourselves and your willingness to compete!

Finally, did you know that Marty’s Place happily supports local farmers and businesses by sourcing produce from GrowFood Carolina, and now serves coffee from King Bean Coffee Roasters and desserts from King Street Cookies. We love to keep it fresh and local, and hope you will join us this Fall!
