JFNA Joins Letter Opposing Political Endorsements by Religious Groups

Jewish organizations, including JFNA, join a letter to Congress from religious groups urging the preservation of a law banning tax-exempt faith groups from endorsing candidates and political parties.

The Johnson Amendment is the current prohibition against charities participating or intervening in any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office. We joined almost 100 national faith-based organizations in signing on to the letter.
