Interested in National Council for Jewish Women? Join Us for Brunch!

NCJW Charleston Section is urging all of its members and any prospective members to attend the Annual Meeting to help brainstorm ways to increase membership and make the Charleston Section more relevant to a younger generation. The hope is to ensure that this historic organization can continue to be a part of the Charleston Jewish Community.

The National Council of Jewish (NCW) Women Charleston Section’s (NCJW) Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, August 12th at 11:00 am, The Villas of West Ashley Club House, 3525 Ashley Village Circle, Charleston off Glenn McConnell Parkway. Please RSVP to Mary Radin at maryandbuffy@aol.com.

Please plan on attending the free event – enjoy a wonderful social brunch, bring your ideas and your experiences and assist the current Board to plan for the future.

NCJW is committed to bringing awareness of human trafficking and domestic violence to its members and the public through several events. The local chapter has held educational events and raised funds to support both My Sisters House and Door to Freedom, which are safe houses for rescued victims. NCJW is also planning a community wide educational event on the #MeToo #TimesUp women’s movements on November 8th, 7:30 pm, at the Circular Congregational Church.

It is vitally important to speak up and speak out now for women’s issues. NCJW hopes you attend their brunch and make a difference in our community.
