2.  Calendar, Community Directory Submission Policies

Submissions for inclusion in the Calendar and Community Directory Homepage will be evaluated according to the following:

The www.JewishCharleston.org Calendar and Community Directory listings are intended as a resource for Charleston's Jewish community and companies, organizations and individuals are invited to submit items for inclusion. To be included on the website, submissions will be evaluated according to these criteria:

(a) Products and services are located in the Greater Charleston area.

(b) The products and services provided are necessary to or of benefit to the Greater Charleston Jewish community.

At this time the Charleston Jewish Federation ("Federation") and the www.JewishCharleston.org website does not advertise, endorse, list as a community resource, or link to websites of companies, organizations or individuals which are commercial in nature unless those products and services fulfill the criteria specified above.

Once the directory listing or calendar event is submitted, it will be reviewed by the website administrator(s) for approval to be posted on the website.  If for any reason it is determined that the submission does not fall within the parameters of the above-stated guidelines, a notification of the determination will be provided.

Exceptions: If the company, organization or individual is a Federation Corporate Sponsor or has an established marketing agreement with Federation, these contracts will supercede any and all of the above criteria.

3. Definitions

The "Federation Site" is the site operated by the Charleston Jewish Federation at the Internet address you are now visiting.

The "FedWeb" and the "FedWeb Site" refer to content, tools and services provided by The Jewish Federations of  North America ("JFN") and selected by the Federation Site for use in their entirety, or selected in part to supplement content from the Federation Site.

"You" refers to any user of this site.

4. Personal Use

JFN and the Federation grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access, view, use, display and print information on this FedWeb Site, including all the materials provided hereon, for your personal, informational, noncommercial use only.

You may not copy, modify, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, transmit, license, or sell any content or any portion of this site without the prior express written consent of JFN or the Federation.

You agree not to interrupt, or attempt to interrupt, the operation of the FedWeb Site or the Federation Site in any way.

You warrant that you will not use this FedWeb Site or the Federation Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use.
