About The Charleston Jewish Federation
The mission of the Charleston Jewish Federation of Charleston, South Carolina is to build, strengthen, and preserve Jewish identity and the needs of the community through partnerships that enable us to serve the needs of our local Jewish community, Israel, and worldwide.

YAD offers young Jewish singles, couples and new area residents a broad range of social and educational opportunities. Charleston's growth is attracting young Jews from around the country, as well as natives returning to the area. More

The REMEMBER Program
The Holocaust was the single most systematic and extensive government engineered genocide in history. Nazis murdered approximately 6 million Jews, including more than one million children. It is these horrific deaths that compel us to study the Holocaust so that we can prevent future tragedies. As Elie Weisel stated: “For the dead and the living we must bear witness.” The REMEMBER Program works closely with The Holocaust Museum of Houston and The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
